This is a basic muffler clamp that does the job for a decent price. Unlike the shiny metal pictured, the 2-in clamp I received is a dull, gray steel. See photos that others have posted. Not a big deal, just don't be surprised if that's why you're buying this one instead of another. Easy install on my tractor.

El vendedor es un fraude, NO LO RECOMIENDO, la abrazadera llegó en su empaque y en la etiqueta dice nuevo pero parece usada y el material es de baja calidad, según es de 1-1/8” pero en realidad mide 1-1/4” aunque tiene estampada la medida de 1-1/8” pero no lo es, tengan cuidado de no comprar esta pieza.

Purchased two of these to replaced rotted out 14 year old clamps. Was a bit disappointed in the loop stock being a bit thin and having plain 1/2” nuts instead of 9/16” nuts with washer built in. In the end they did the job but I’m not expecting them to last as long as the ones they replaced.

The rod portion of this clamp isn't very skookum and is a very low-gauge of steel compared to the Totalflow clamp I bought (also 2.5"). Also, the anti-rust coating is barely even there. I would hesitate to call this galvanized. Also, the Totalflow clamp is cheaper AND it's zinc-plated! I don't work for Totalflow or anything, just giving my honest comparison. It's funny that this one is more expensive by almost a dollar and you get less for your money. I could bend this with my hand, too, so I don't even think this is properly hardened. I'm hesitant to use this on my Jeep. Might just keep it as a spare and get another clamp from AutoZone that's properly galvanized or zinc-plated.Edit: I ended up trying to use this on my Jeep, and what a mistake that was. Even though I used the proper size six-point half-inch socket, the nut got all chowdered, and so did the threads that the bolt was sitting on when I was socking it down. I wasn't even done tightening the clamp down when the nut slipped and almost rounded itself off. I had to use vise grips to get the damn thing off. It's almost like the steel used throughout this product is all eneeled steel and not hardened! Unbelievable. I requested (and received) a refund because of this. I can't recommend this product at all as it failed before it was even properly doing its job.

I needed two saddle clamps to fit a 2 ft high lift jack cylinder and mount one both sides. This is for an aircraft application. The project is to mount the small base hyd jack on a fabricated platform and support it with 4 struts to ensure stability when lifting the jacking point on the aircraft landing gear. These clamps are slightly oversize which allows for a 1/8" thick rubber strip to distribute the load as the clamps are tightened. This struts are mounted to through bolts on the camps on both sides and then to the base. The U-bolts are not used.

Great clamp to anchor an upright exhaust pipe to a 3 inch wide metal bracket above the engine of a 1155E Case track loader. This pipe goes up through the engine cowling 2 ft to a heavy muffler. This clamp is strong enough to keep the muffler and pipe from moving around during rough rock excavation and truck loading.

I bought the 3 1/2 inch U-Bolt clamps , and they are a good fit, and plenty heavy duty . I also like the fact that the threaded bolt ends stick out about 1/2 inch beyond the nut so that I can attach other items easily and retain them with a second nut. I plan to clean them with solvent and paint them, so I'm not concerned with any anti-rust coatings. I'm using them to attach a foot step to the pipe of the front end loader of my tractor.
