I picked up a 97 RK that was sitting in the desert and seriously just rotting. Snapped the belt and converted to chain. The spring pack grenades and I went with this clutch pack. I've had BDL open primaries and also clutch packs from them throughout the years and have never had issues. This pressure plate is super comfortable and lighter than stock and enguages/disenguages super positive. Don't hesitate, it's amazon. FTW

Works excellent! Recommend for any sportster. Clutch pull is a little stiffer but sooo much better than stock. Make sure you get the clutch install tool.

So far so good. Stock clutch went to pieces on me. Did lots of research before making this purchase. Also got the one tool you need to hold the plates in place while you put the retainer ring back on along with the new gaskets. Figured might as well replace them while I was doing the work. Was able to save some money by doing the work myself thanks to YouTube. Got my sportster up and running

Perfect for 2019 iron 883, much more grabby and makes the bike feel faster off of the line, did this swap as part of a hammer 1275 swap. highly recommend even if you aren’t swapping the motor, stock bike feels better even after just swapping the clutch.

GREAT clutch!! Had to replace the stock clutch from my 06 sportster 1200R. As many of you have experienced, the rivets came apart on the stock clutch. I installed this one based on the reviews and it was a great choice! It really grabs on take off and while riding. No slipping at all. Had an issue trying to get the bike back into neutral after the install. I called the head tech person at Energy One which is the actual clutch manufacture. He told me if it was installed correctly, which it was, then just ride it around a little bit. Sure enough after about 2 miles riding it around my neighborhood, I was able to get neutral again. He also said there is no break in period with their clutches. "Ride it like you still it" right out of the box is what he told me. And I have without any issues as of about 1,000 miles. You might go through rear tires a little faster now but I'm ok with that!

Update 07/01/2017This clutch pack has continued to make my ride exciting. I use my bike mainly as a commuter. When not commuting I hit long rides using backroads with as many twisty corners as I can. Being able to twist the throttle and have strong acceleration is a huge plus.In retrospect, I think that there was something wrong with the clutch pack that was originally in my bike, which would explain all the clutch slip I was having. That said, having the upgrade has been great. It has continued to perform well and does exactly what I expect.This purchase was worth it.=======================================================I own and Iron 883 that has been modified; big air, high flow exhaust, and FuelPak 3. Under quick acceleration the stock clutch has been slipping. When at high way speed and opening up the throttle the clutch would slip. I received this clutch pack yesterday and completed the install shortly thereafter. I have taken the bike out for a spin and here are some things to note. The clutch lever takes more force to pull, this is to be expected with a heavier clutch plate. All previously experienced slippage has been eliminated, I tested this many times from a standing start and opening up the throttle at while at highway speed. When accelerating hard the front end of the bike lifts, the tire does not come off the ground but there is a large difference in power put to the ground when compared to the stock clutch.I am pleased with this kit. Time will tell if the upgrade was worth it. I will update if there is anything new to note. Currently, this has done everything I wanted.

Works great, if you upgrade the performance on your sporty you'll need a stronger clutch and diaphram. My old clutch would slip under power, but now it'll bring the front tire off the ground in second. Buy the cheapo clutch removal tool and that's all you'll need. I'm sure I could do it in 30 minutes if I wasn't taking my time.
