It came not working the junction was broken inside but I missed my return window

Cheap junk. Highly inaccurate. Reading would change day to day. I could use a laser thermometer to set temp and the next day with same settings laser thermometer would read a completely different temp. I did double and triple check the controller was set to use this type of probe. Switched to different probe with same controller no more issues.

These work really good, my furnace is a bit too hot for them and they end up melting but if I'm careful to keep temperature below 2900°F they last the whole run and then some. There's probably a way to protect them better to last longer, solid fuel is really hard on them. I know others with gas fired crucible furnaces they last for many runs.
