I purchased this because my mower was sputtering and not functioning like it used to. This kit allowed for the carburetor replacement and came with all of the necessary seals. No adjustment to anything was needed. Just plug and play. After install my mower runs like it did when I first bought it. Saved me a ton of money doing it with this kit compared to taking it to a shop.

Delivered undamaged within two days. No instructions so went on YouTube and found several videos on how to install the carburator on a Honda GVC 190LA motor. There's even one with a diagram showing the correct sequence for installing the gaskets. No problem with installation. Was able to reuse the OEM gaskets that were already on the engine so didn't use the ones provided in the kit. After giving it time for fuel to make its way to the carburator, the engine cranked on the second pull. Used the pressure washer wand for several minutes and everything worked well (no surging or engine shutting down under pressure). Works better than when new.

Ordered this kit in to repair my Honda pressure washer which is about 15 years old. The pressure washer was having an issues with starting and running smoothly. About 8 years ago I had similar problems and took it to Honda repair. Worked well after but I was out about $125 from that episode. Decided to tackle the exchange myself. Watched YouTube and it looked pretty easy. Only required one 10mm wrench and a spark plug wrench. Took about 30 minutes to change it all out. Fired it up and cleaned all of my walkways without any problems. This is a great kit and was pretty simple to install. Remember to use ethanol free gas in your small motor lawn equipment and your tools will be happy to see you every time you use them.

If you are reading this and need a new carburetor I highly recommend this HIPA GCV190! When I ordered this, I needed the carb and gaskets only. This order came with the Carb, gaskets, a sparkplug, an air filter, gas line, shut off for the gasline, an inline fuel filter! Do the math, this is a great deal! I bought an airfilter from Home Depot for $12 and a fuel filter for $7, just those two items are more than half the cost of this set! Those purchases were of course returned!

Replaced carb on 15 yr old HRX217 HXA that was surging and flooding. After repairing drive components I think it got crud in carb from being turned every which way but up. Attempted to clean out but still wasn’t running right which it had been having issues beforehand. This kit had all the parts to give it a fresh start, sparkplug, air filter and carb. Didn’t use the gas filter or hose may at a later date. It would have been helpful to have a layout of the carb and gaskets for putting it all back sandwiched together as mine is a pain with the metal brackets along with the housing to assemble. You can find these on internet if you have a question as to which goes where. Take pics would be helpful if you can. My carb doesn’t just come off due to mounting plates on mower. I was a bit worried when I opened the package and the brass screw on top of the carb looked like the assembler slipped and roughed the flat head screw pretty bad. But it didn’t seem to affect anything after about 20 minutes of mowing. After examining my old carb I think the old gaskets may be the problem after disassembled they seem to have deteriorated or shrunk down in some of the ports which are part of the design. But for now this was a good buy in my opinion. Mower seems to run better than it ever has actually.Day 2: opened shed gas fumes floor and mower deck wet from carb bowl leaking. Attempted to tighten thinking must not have been tight. Well after multiple tightening it seemed to get worse. Took bowl loose and went to buy gas as that was the objective to start with. On return rubber gasket fell off and as I attempted to reach it the float, pin, and needle also joined the diving team. After retrieving them from the deck I moved to shade. Probably a good thing as this was not good for my temperature 🤒. Finally success after multiple attempts to get the carb float parts back in proper location. Next get rubber gasket seated not easy standing on your head. Even went and got old carb to see what it used. Nope. Finally thought I had it Put it back together now the bolt gasket wouldn’t seal. Take it back off (yep rubber gasket came off again)seems the bottom bolt hole surface was now misshaped possible from trying to tighten to start with or could have been mfg. Took socket and tapped till it appeared to have good surface to seal on. I also took the old bolt washer gasket from original carb as it was bigger that the one that came on it I didn’t want to take apart again. Seemed to not leak tonight.Day 3: No leaking before or after mowing. I had seen someone else review this leak issue and as well. So beware you may need to watch it after first installed. Hope the little humor made your time well spent reading. Mower ran well all the time I was actually mowing hope this was just another my luck kinda deal. Price was good for what I got just a bit frustrating on having the leak and associated fun trying to get it right.
