Last summer our garden struggled and didn’t yield us what we normally get in tomatoes peppers and cucumbers. I was incredibly busy in my roll as grandma and my husband was busy with work. At the end of the day neither of us wanted to go out and water as often as we needed to.This summer I’m hoping all of that can change, and that this tool will allow us to water on a schedule no matter what life throws our way.Time has some serious weight to it. While it is plastic, it’s not cheap nor flimsy. The battery access is on the back and it takes 4 AA batteries. If I were to improve this product, I would suggest it be made with a solar panel and run off of stored power vs batteries that will need replaced. It’s March and not quite the weather to run our outside spigots to test this, but should it fail to operate as intended I will certainly return to update my review.

I needed a two line hose time for my drip systems. I grow a lot of plants and use 1/4" tubing with containers on the patio. I noticed that my one channel timer can water about a dozen large plants or so, but then it starts to lose pressure. A second system is the solution and it's nice to have one time that can do both. And not just water two areas, but do each area independently with its own program.Like other hose timers you can set the duration and days apart for watering, and this unit has a clock so you can set the specific time of day. You have a left and right channel and can program each one independently. You can run them simultaneously, but if you want maximum pressure I suggest running them at different times. It's easy to program with the dial and the clock - and you can do readouts of your programmed times. There is also a battery indicator, the unit takes 4 AA batteries (not included). It's well made, easy to install, and should give you a lot of options with your watering system.

This programmable water timer makes lawn and garden irrigation easy. The two-zone feature allows customized watering schedules, and the brass swivel ensures durability. The waterproof design holds up well outdoors, making it a great investment for plant care.

It is easy to set up and operate. I like that it is metal and feels sturdy with Brass fittings. It has a little notification on the screen when the batteries are getting low - so that is helpful and gives peace of mind that you wont go away for a few days and come back to a dead garden due to dead batteries. Dual Zones is definitely a nice feature.

This HIRALIY sprinkler timer is overall a nice tool that will help keep our water bill in check. The build quality is good, and I appreciate that the connection to the faucet is metal. I've seen others that are a cheap plastic, so this one inspires more confidence. The two male outlets are plastic, but should hold up just fine. The battery cover is on the back, so the unit may have to be dismounted to replace the batteries. As long as it makes it through the season on a single set of AA batteries (4 of them), I can't see that it will be an issue. The battery cover can be manually removed and installed without tools, but it seals well and snaps confidently into place. The operation of the unit is simple and straightforward. I referred to the instructions a couple times, but there's nothing complicated in the operation or settings. The unit is already earning its pay and saving me time and money.
