My plastic rice spoon ended its life.Rice doesn't stick on the surface.. but it's not good for health since rice is hot...chance to be exposed to bad chemicals.I changed to a wooden spoon.. but rice sticks so hard to wash.This silcone rice spoon resolves both I guess. heat resistance and non-stickThis product definitely works well.It stands itself, so I don't need a plate to locate it.I love it!

The rice doesn't stick. We usually use basmati. We also like the way it stands by itself when set on the counter.
