Little tough to get on but that means it will stay where it belongs. For someone with large hands make small pistol feel more comfortable. Came with good installation instructions.

I was dreading the installation, but the directions were clear and there are good videos online. Boiled it, stretched it some, used the plastic shoehorn trick, and it just took a couple minutes. Without the grip installed, I always thought that the LCP felt like a Pez dispenser. Didn't fill my hand well, and I could easily imagine fumbling it in a defensive situation. This eliminates the Pez dispenser feeling, and makes for a MUCH better draw from my paddle holster. Feels much more secure. Should've gotten one of these a long time ago.

This Hogue grip sleeve is great for making the grip on the Ruger LCP II 22 a little bigger and easier to hold. It fits fine and the one finger notch is helpful. I've combined it with the Tandom Kross Wingman 4 mag extension which allows all fingers to grip the gun and adds 4 more .22 rounds. This makes the LCP II much easier to hold. This was easier to install than advertised. I soaked it in boiling water and put the LCP II in the freezer. Then I spread a thin coat of synthetic gun grease on the handle and grip and slid it on. It hasn't slipped back off.

for some reason, my first review didn’t pass community standards. It looked pretty much just like everybody else’s review pictures saying why they liked it so stupid. It’s a gun handle grip. What could be wrong with it Hogue is great they always work. Don’t expect to get the plastic pieces in the lubricant that helps get it on cause I didn’t get it.

The texture on the Ruger LCP II is very good. BUT, the grip is very small, and has "square shoulders". If you have a single stack sub compact to achieve as small a grip as possible, you may not need this. If you desire a bit more purchase on the handle, this may be a better option than grip tape.I barely have room for 2 fingers on the grip (stock). I wasn't sure whether the ergonomic fit would take up valuable real estate (the little bump molded to fit in between fingers). It does not. It still fits great. This gives the grip a little more width, and rounds out the shoulders, making it much more comfortable. I have 3 holsters for this weapon (pocket, inside waste band, and outside waste band). I've tried this grip in all 3, and have noticed no interference. This is with the extended grip (which on the LCP II is only a lip on the front of the magazine).Install - be prepared for a fight. Definately follow the instructions on the package. Those little strips that you cut out of the packaging are the difference between success and failure. While this can be frustrating, it is important that the fit is tight enough to ensure the grip will not move during use. I have Hogue grips on several pistols, and have never had an issue with them slipping during use.

Through no fault of this product at all, it didn't work for me. I have a first gen Ruger LCP, this is specifically made for the LCP2. It even says so in the title of the product and the description. It specifically says it WILL NOT FIT the Ruger LCP, Only the LCP2...and knowing all this, I bought it anyways... lol Hogue makes a very nice grip for My LCP and I had one on it but.. I got tired of the Black grip and wanted a new one but Hogue for some reason, which is beyond me, only makes it in Black, Pink or Purple...(seriously? pink and Purple? WHO wants a pink or purple self defense weapon? well maybe some on in San Francisco or in P-Town Rhode Island?) Anyhow, The Grips that Hogue makes for the LCP 2 come in all sorts of colors, and I wanted either a Tan one to match my Glock's grip or an OD Green one (which was what i bought!) So I though, it doesnt look that much different than the one i have, I bet I can make it work... WRONG! lol I got it almost all the way on but it was way too tight to get it to go on likt the last 1/4" so i stuck a butter knife between the grip and the guns frame to sort of shoe horn it on, when i did i over stretched the grip and it tore about a 1/4" to 1/2" up the back strap... Boooo! then i realized, that the Grip thats made for my LCP gen1 has a built in plug for the Hammer spring rod, this one doesnt so i used a razor knife to trim off the small extension on the bottom thinking id re-install the plug i took out to mount the other grip ... but I couldn't find the plug and cant find one online so... yeah, this was a failed attempt at "Proving the Man wrong!" lol. So Hogue if you read this, purple and pink? wtf? make one in OD Green and another in tan and youll probably sell a lot more! Thanks!

Have, now, installed two (2) of these on wife & daughter's LCP2 PISTOLS. Adds greatly in reduction of felt recoil and in reducing muzzle rise. In "breaking in" both of those pistols, I put 150-200 rounds down range, with each pistol, using the grips and can attest to the greatly added comfort and stability, afforded. Here, I will tell you that IF you have average hand strength and 2-3 minutes, you need not boil in hot water, soak in Windex or all of the over the top Hogue instructions, to include the arts and crafts cutting of plastic in various "designs". Simply heat for about 1-2 minutes with a hair dryer at medium heat, while holding with a washcloth or similar cloth to ensure your safety and then install the grip while still warm, to the pistol, using that cloth to help your installation while ensuring the small , most forward, finger portion is engaged, first! Gently and firmly, work the grip on, using the cloth and hair dryer in "concert", if needed. Given average or better hand strength, you will be done in minutes. Again, second time installing of Ruger LCP2's and have used the same method on other pistols as well. Highly recommend the Hogue grip....install however you choose.... yet well worth both price and gained results. Thanks for your time, reading.
