This unit was exactly what I needed. Very solid and stable. The only problem was a crack in one of the doors (I fixed rather than sending back) and the two doors do not line up exactly. I’m needing to take more time to adjust them properly.

I love my island. My grandaughters boyfriend put. it 2gether in about 21/2 hrs approx. I was pleasantly surprised how it came out. I did expect the backing to be a little flimsy but its ok. One thing I saw negative about it was the two doors did not meet close enough, left a slight opening between the doors but all in all not too bad. I'm thinking about having a drop leaf put on the back if that is possible. I'M VERY SATISFIED!

Used for things I kept on kitchen counter because I couldn't climb up to get them. I've lost inches and have problem reaching things on the second shelf. I have a balance problem so shouldn't climb up to reach things. My kitchen opens to the living room and the black goes nicely with my black baby grand piano. My daughter assembled it for me; said it was hard to put together.

We need an island, but our kitchen is (at least by modern McMansion standards) pretty small; ditto for countertop/cabinet space. This unit helps solve both problems and it didn't break the bank, plus the stainless top is AWESOME, especially for baking! Pluses: decently heavy (90+ pounds in the flat pack), decent quality casters, one relatively skilled guy can put it together alone (takes about 3.5 hours if you're very, VERY cautious like me) with a minimum of tools AND cursing. Minuses: because it's heavy, it'll probably arrive with slight damage because of careless shippers (mine did, but was easy to fix so I just dealt with it), the plastic "damage shield" wrap over the stainless is the very devil to remove completely from the undersides (I'm being VERY nitpicky here -- better protected than not, right?), and that's pretty much it.We're SUPER happy with this unit -- guessing you will be as well. And no, we received NO payment whatsoever for this review. LOL!

Overall i really like this thing; but if you purchase PLEASE read the cons so you don't run into installation issues. You have to want the commercial kitchen counter look otherwise the other options made of wood might be better for you since it'll be easier to keep it looking clean. I thought this would go well with the black/stainless steel appliances and I'm happy with the look.Pros:- Packed well (box came with a couple of rips/dents but everything inside was fine)- Stainless steel wrapped wooden top looks great, came 97% perfect (a couple light small scuffs to the stainless steel brushing, hardly worth a complaint)- Installation instructions easy to follow- Installed pretty quickly by myself without power tools- There were extras of all screws/accessories you need for installation- Lots of counter and cabinet spaceCons:- Installation was easy but it would have been easier if they didn't forget to include a part in the instructions. I got to the end and there was one piece left, it turns out it needed to be installed near the beginning. I dismantled it halfway and pulled it apart carefully to slide the piece in without having to undo all my hard work. I may have slightly damaged a previously drilled hole but luckily it was very minor and everything went together well at the end. IF YOU BUY THIS, the piece slides between the top and bottom backboard of the large cabinet. Install it backwards to how you see it in the instructions at the end so that you can hide the screws in the cupboard and they aren't visible in the back.- Having to mess with the hinges was a pain. 4 of 6 aligned nicely without issue but 2 of them needed adjustments and the mechanism couldn't get it exactly how i wanted. I ended up stripping one of the screws but kept playing with it and got it in a spot that worked.- The stainless steel top is wrapped in this protective plastic sticker. Unwrapping it was easy but it's wedged in the edges where it covers the wood top (see pics) so you have to rip it out slowly and it's not going to be perfect, but if you spend some time on it and eventually it won't be noticeable- It would be nice if they included rubber cabinet bumpers so you don't hear them slamming closed. Luckily these are cheap and i had some extra's laying around.- Seems like the cabinet doors on the left are slightly different colour from the ones on the right. I'd say it's less noticeable in person but it's still there.Looking past some of the installation pains, i'm very happy with this thing now that it's built. I've got my little coffee station plus more room for another countertop appliance like my air fryer or waffle maker and lots of storage underneath. It's not the highest quality but it's right for the price and looks great.

Zero shipping issue. All parts perfectly packaged. Quick assembly. Looks exactly as advertised. I would recommend buying two!Con: wish the locks were stronger, only two of the wheels have the locking mechanism, flappy

It was a daunting task to assemble for sure but the instruction were clear and we could do it. The material is good and the wheels make it really accessible. I would not say it’s totally scratch resistant but if handled with care I believe this is an amazing addition to your kitchen. The size is decent and has ample storage. Would absolutely recommend if you are Ok with assembling.

I did have some trouble putting this Island together. The larger doors do not close together properly. Found some of the door hinges to be a bit different. If I could have returned at the time, I would have except the doors are the last to install. I do not know how you were figure this out prior to building Island. I only use the large cupboard for stuff I only use once in awhile, then open one side then open both to close together. The Island is true to size and was fast delivery.

The cart arrived quickly. The instructions say it requires two people, but I was able to put it together by myself. It looks great, I like the look of the stainless steel top. And I'm really pleased that I can roll it around and put it where I need it. It made a great "side board" for Thanksgiving.There is a mistake in the assembly instructions on Step 18, which has you put the cams on the outside of the back, which would be pretty ugly. So instead I put piece 8 on at step 12, and put the cams on the inside.
