Love the dishes, Good price too. The only reason for a downgrade in stars is that these are NOT 14"x6" When I took them out of the box I thought I had the wrong size. Nope, the box says 14"x 6". So I measured and they are 13 1/2" by 5 1/2" False advertising.

If you did not read the description the way i didn't, you will be shocked with the size as the product as way bigger than on the picture. The edges are not the same,its a rectangular plate but if you want to use it as cold cuts and cheese platter it will definitelly not hold the shape as the edges are flat and not as pictured. Although the quality looks ok, its definitely not the same product as advertised.

A variety of candies or a loaf cake, or long veggies or sushi all look so much nicer on a long plate. These are a nice weight, glaze is even, perfectly matte, easy to wash. I’m glad I bought them. Great value!

I love plating my meal in a line instead of always on round plates or the middle of a bowl. I got rid of my old round plates entirely. I only want to use these. It has a small lip that looks artful and keeps things from falling off like stew. It being a matt finish also helps. Plates everything so well. A twisted pile of fettucini, a handful of shrimp scampi, a tossed ceasar salad lined up seperated one two three. Its so beatutiful. A hamburger and fries, steak, fish, sardines and crackers, a small porcelein cup of espresso a small glass of OJ nuts and sliced orange all look like fine dining. Feels special. Colors are vibrant against dark flat black. Sushi is organized and visually pops. I have a set of cutlary that is long thin handled flat black that look so nice on these plates. The silver does as well. The plates are solid and a little heavy. I don't think they'll chip. Easy to eat on the couch or breakfast in bed bundled up in a blanket on a cold snowy day, perfect on a table. The only negative is they barely fit in my microwave and not at all in my countertop oven. I work around it. Holds heat and cold well so chilling or heating with tap water and drying is nice. They're a pleasure to use. I can't wait to have a friend over for a meal.
