This is not a rock-sturdy set of bookends, but it does what it's intended to do. I purchased it to get rid of a bunch of kids' droopy colouring and activity books and make them upright, organized and more easily-accesible. I will likely get another one for my kids' workbooks.

I bought it because it’s different than book ends. It looks cool and it opens quite a bit.The only con, I think it could be slightly stronger on the ends. It’s good, just needs a slight tweak.

It's a simple sleek design. I like the accordion style, so I can elongate or shorten it.I wouldn't recommend using this with tall books, as it IS lightweight and will likely still fall over. But for short, thick books or medium height, thick books it will work great.

I really love the flexibility of this item. The fact that I can adjust it to the size needed on my desk is awesome. My only complaint would be that there needs to be a rubber mat on the bottom so it doesn’t side around. Other than that, I’m very happy with it.

I got this because I like to keep the artbooks I've collected over the years in the shelf above my desk. However, because it doesn't fill the entire shelf, they had a tendency to fall over and push everything aside. Since these are heavy books, they also knocked things off occasionally. This is a perfect solution. Since it is reliant on the books on either end to keep the pressure on the inside, I don't run into the problem of my books pushing a bookend like I normally do. There is a limit to how much you can stretch it, however I can fit a good amount of books within them.If you're like me and you enjoy having certain books in certain areas, this is a perfect addition.

I was a bit concerned the stretchy part might not have tension once stretched open with books in place, maybe the books' weight would cause the product to expand further but it stays 'tight.'I have four thick cookbooks with a year's worth of cooking magazines in the middle and this holds everything exactly as I've placed it.It looks pretty cool for the stretchy part is hidden from view and the ends are thin enough to not be distracting from my prized books.Great product at the price offered if you're looking for a simple, functional design.Weight of the books has not tipped it over so it succeeds at being bookends!

It has been a while since I was reading a book. Then, few month ago on a road trip I was reading about a book that I really wanted to get.Long story short …lol … 3 month later I have about 10 books laying on my night stand that are waiting for me to read them :)Well, let me tell you. It can get pretty messy with my 11 month old baby. She keeps on pulling the books and was trying to eat them. So it was perfect solution for me and now they are all organized.5 stars and I really love it

I have open shelving in my home rather than standard bookshelves. Unfortunately, that means I need bookends in order to decorate with any books at all in that space. This product has solved that problem, while offering me functionality and style!I’m easily able to pull a book out without the rest of the books falling over or pushing the bookends over! Such a huge difference from traditional bookends and I’m so grateful for it! I love the look of the accordion style.This would make a great gift for a book lover!
