This is identical to original and fits perfectly. Correct length and very easy to install, see numerous YouTube videos. Works great and restores operation. Cheap easy fix for broken pull rope, common issues over time.

It served the purpose so that I did not have to guess what type of cord would work the best, but I thought maybe they might include a new handle and the metal band that fastens to the cord to stop the cord from fully retracting into the housing.

I ordered this after the original pull string on our lawn mower snapped. After looking on Amazon we found this item. It is identical of the one that we removed from the mower.
