It’s very pretty and seems to be fine. My worry is that the glass is very thin and feels breakable. We will see. If it’s a problem I’ll be back to report.

Adds a nice touch to my kitchen counter. The top seals well and the rubber opening hold the wooden honey spoon up out of the way.

My mother in-law is a beekeeper so we always have a fresh supply of local honey around. This honey keeper is really cute. I love that it’s mostly glass and wood with just a touch of silicone around the rim to keep the lid on tight and keep ants out of the dipper. Hopefully it works because we get sugar ants constantly. I’m surprised at how thin the glass is. It’s quite detailed and looks really nice on my wooden display shelf in my kitchen. I can’t wait to fill it up.

I do love this honeypot — it’s beautiful and elegant and makes a huge statement… at the same time, the description is a teeny misleading. The tops are definitely not “airtight”, and the base doesn’t fit the glass so that it doesn’t easily slide off. If it’s lightly knocked, it slides off immediately and then you risk the top falling off too.The wood is good quality and overall a beautiful product
