These work great. I had an issue with them leaking but it was my fault. There was a small amount of dirt in my bucket and the dirt didn't allow the o rings to seal after the birds used the nipple. Just make sure your water supply is clean. They work great and birds took to them immediately

Decent quality for the price, leaked past the O-rings that were sent. After siliconing it it worked perfect.

Needed new waterers for my chickens. I was tired of replacing the old waterers. These watering nipples were easy to install. They work well and there is less water waste. Chickens were attracted to the red nipple. The nipple is perfect in size. This waterer is much easier to clean than the ones I have purchased in the past. Works well and looks amazing! Highly recommend.

I purchased these in hopes of offering a clean and available water source for my chickens in the winter that wouldn’t freeze. I can’t say I would recommend this brand again. I had to buy some O-rings to help reduce it from leaking (see photo). But then, it was such a tight seal that no water comes out when my chickens would peck at it. I wouldn’t make this purchase again. And I wish chicken nipples were made better!

Edit:USE A SMALLER DRILL BIT SIZE!So I've since updated to a 55 gallon and have a 1" schedule 40, PVC pipe where I put the nipples on them. I have a heater and a circulator pump to make sure the water doesn't freeze. Well unfortunately, the outlet died, the heater turned off and everything froze, so I had to rebuild the whole thing. Long story short, I was getting leaks with the included 9.5mm drill bit. 9.5mm is 0.374, or just a shade under 3/8th of an inch. I stepped down to 11/32, or 0.34375 and I have no leaks. I'd advise anyone to first use a slightly smaller drill bit. Other than that, everything is back to normal.Original post======================================================I put about six nipples on a 5 gallon bucket when they were about 7 weeks old, so there were still young. I put the bucket on a cinder block and showed them how to use it for about 20 minutes. They didn't get it at first, but once one of them did, all of them got it. The water stays cleaner than with any other option out there. The only oddity is that even though I have about 6 nipples on a bucket, all 8 of my hens insist on fighting over one nipple! When one decides to get a drink, typically at least two more of them will go over and insist on drinking from the same nipple, even though they have a ton more to chose from! But they've been using them now for about 3 weeks with no issues. It's been great!

Seemed like a good idea but the chickens broke the plastic nozzles in less than a week. I replaced it with a stainless-steel generic watering dish. Works great and simpler.

I think it could be well made for chicken, but the spring is way too tight for quails. I do understand it's not advertised as a quail thing, but quail owner are looking for options. This is not the one. Go look at Rent-a-coop horizontal nipples with a small cup underneath, they're amazing for quails. Even ordering from Amazon US is a better option than wasting money on subpar options that don't really work.
