Nice kit if you dont need a pound of #9 rivets or you are just starting to use rivets like this. Snipping the excess off was not as hard as expected. Setting tool worked nicely

Bought these for added strength on corners of leather sheaths that I make and couldn't be more happy with em. So easy to install and seems to be preferred over the stainless screw posts that I have been using. Zero learning curve on these as it is pretty straightforward. Will definitely be purchasing more soon.

Don't know how I used rivets before this tool. One of my best buys.

I used this kit to install a nylon scrap to a backpack using these copper rivets. The copper rivets are a great addition and give it a look of a professional install Not to mention being very secure. There are no instructions so if you're not familiar with installing rivets you might look for a source on You Tube. When working with fabric I would suggest NOT using the included Hole cutting punch to cut the fabric. Instead make a through punch out of an old screwdriver by simply grinding the Screwdriver's blade down to a sharp point. Now simply push the punch shaft through the fabric at your intended rivet location. The threads should separate and leave a round hole that with a little effort you can Keep open long enough to get the rivet post through. Install the copper burr, (round copper washer), over the rivet post and tap it down using the included tool. The other tool you will need is a pair of Bates multi use- Cutting Pliers/Nail Puller Pliers/ Nail Remover Tool/ to cut off the excess copper post. These cutting pliers give you enough leverage to easily snip off the excess copper Shaft. Be sure and leave enough ohh the copper post protrusion 1/16"+ above the Burr so when hammered down there's ample tension hold the copper burr tight to keep it from coming loose. A small tack hammer works well for hammering down the copper post protrusion until it resembles a mushroom cap.

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the tools that came with the rivets.

Nice to have the installation tools, they worked well in spite of the sketchy instructions. It took a couple of tries to get it right but having the right tools makes a big difference. I used the rivets to repair a horse feed bag. See photos. I couldn’t use the leather punch because I was riveting nylon webbing, used a red hot nail to punch the holes. Though I tried the supplied leather punch on a piece of leather and it worked well.Packaging could have been better. The plastic case arrived broken. Delivery speed was great.

A little disappointed. The package arrived and the case that the tools and copper rivets came in was broken into four pieces and the tools and rivets were free roaming in the package. Small box would have been better. The tool is sturdy and works fine, however, the tool had REALLY sharp edges were you need to hold it to assemble and set your copper rivets. You do not get very many rivets and because the tools were rolling and banging on the copper rivets they have scratches on them that have to be polished out. I am getting very frustrated crap quality with is being offered on Amazon and these third party sellers who don't care about selling pretty poor quality items.
