Who knew I'd always needed this! Great product if you're wanting a shelf but don't want to spend the money to make one! I was skeptical on how this would be sturdy but a little bit of moving the arms on the bracket I was able to make sturdy and now don't have to reach clear up in my cupboard for the things that I use regularly! Great item, would purchase again and easy to install!

It certainly will not hold the amount of weight that is claimed. Right now I am only able to put lite items. The support legs bend to easily which makes it easy to customize the fit, but this also makes holding much weight impossible. I see some have mounted it to the wall, that defeats the purpose of free standing and mobile. If you don't need it to hold much weight, I can recommend, but I do not trust it as a whole.

Just perfect “ short person shelf”, as my husband says. A lot of room.

Very useful product if you have washer and dryer's backs are facing the wall. It is perfect size. Holds lot of things. The only down side is that you have to screw the rack to wall also to keep it sturdy otherwise it does not stay straight.

We've had one similar to this for probably twenty five years which has held up but the vinyl is cracking. It went together easily but the washers for the screw heads were too small for the holes, but luckily I had some larger ones on hand. It took a bit of bending to get the back braces just right but wasn't difficult. This was for our new washer and dryer and I was afraid the thin slip on covers for the front legs could possibly rub and eventually cause damage to the front panel. So I applied some self adhesive felt pads to the inside surface to prevent that. It seems to work well and I see no reason why it shouldn't hold up as long as the old one.

My main concern was keeping my cats out from behind the appliances. When I first moved in, one jumped back there and couldn't get out. I have arthritis and couldn't pull out the washer or lift the cat. I had to push blankets behind my washer for him to climb out, but he was too traumatized to walk up the easy access exit I provided. He gave new meaning to the word "caterwauling." I had to shoo him with a broom to get him to climb out. With my new Over-The-Washer Storage Shelves, no more dramatic rescues for us!I read all the reviews before buying this and decided to go for it, despite my mismatched washer/dryer combo. I couldn't be happier. I put two shelves together in 5 minutes with a screwdriver. The one caution I'd give is that when you manually bend the curved, vertical supports to fit your particular appliance, make sure to hold the strip of metal at both ends. That is, don't bend it such that the screwed end takes the force of your bending motion. The little flanges that hold the supports to the wire shelf are only spot welded. I heard one crack a little, meaning it was going to break. I realized my mistake (and it is my mistake, since I know about fulcrums and direction of force) and just gripped the metal strip at both ends to bend it between my two hands. They bent to shape easily. It took a couple of tries to customize and level each shelf, but it was a no-brainer and needed very little strength. Here is the great part: I have an unmatched washer and dryer. The dryer is an Admiral with a curved top and no lip; it slants backwards at quite an angle, and the top edge is not level front to back. The washer is a Kenmore with a lip, a flat top and all rectangular edges. The two shelves worked equally well for both washer and dryer. The angle I bent the supports was different for each, but they work great. This is a light-duty, easy to assemble product that worked as advertised for me.

I am so glad I bought this. I set it over my dryer to hold all of the stain stuff, oxy clean, detergent, dryer sheets etc. Much nicer than sitting on the dryer then moving it to change the settings and turn on my dryer or clean the lint trap. I gave it 4 of 5 stars because it was a bit flimsy, I had to bend it into shape to set it on the dryer and it didn't come with instructions to assemble. It was simple enough but I still had to flip it around a couple of times to get it correct. I would buy it again and if I need to get one for the top of my washer.Pros:f Holds everything, easy to assemble, makes the space neatCons: no extra space, just a bit flimsy, no assembly directions, unattractiveIf you need it, this is the cheapest option and it works well.
