Have used it for over a year now. Accidently washed it once and it survived. The sensor does snap on, so it can be removed to allow strap to be washed. I probably wear it too tight and the elastic material is a bit deformed, but it works fine.

Received this last night. Have not tried it yet because it didn't come with a user manual, and setting up the battery and hitting reset button evidently isn't enough to set it up.Band is not wide and it seems comfortable on the rib cage. I'm 31.5" band size. Out of the box this fits but if I lose more than .5" around my rib cage it may not work for me any more. If you're small framed this may not be the band for you. I'm not even tiny-this band was probably made with men in mind. Also, the manufacturer has no support for this product on its site any more. No user manual, no videos, etc. I'm sure if I can get it to sync I will be fine. However, if you are the type who needs the user guide choose a different band.

Didn't even make it a year! When it worked it was fine. Crashed mid-ride the other day and that was it. New batteries didn't work. Probably a faulty seal somewhere.

The design of this HRM is nice and clean. The unit itself is a little bulkier (thicker) than other units like the Garmin Premium soft strap (also sold on Amazon). The battery cover uses a coin to twist open and the unit uses a single 2032 lithium battery. It's a robust design that allows users to easily change the battery. The strap is decent, flexible and appears strong enough for several years of use.The only problem I had, and I'm hoping I'll be able to resolve soon is; I can't use it since it won't pair with my Samsung Note 3 phone. Both are supposed to be ANT+ compatible, but my phone has never been able to see any ANT+ accessory. I suspect I'm doing something wrong and hope to sort it out quickly.Update 3/28: The ANT+ service was disabled on my phone. Everything is great now. If you have a supported Android phone and are having pairing problems, make sure to check in the Application Manager for the ANT Radio Service to see that it's running.

Just as good as all the big name brands like polar and garmin but I like this one better. It also connected to my vivosmart with no problems except for me not taking the little plastic thing out of the battery. Seems pretty accurate but I will be testing it against some others.

I got this as a used item on Amazon to save some cash over the Garmin equivalent. It has synced perfectly with both my Garmin running watch and my Garmin Edge 500. Seems to be accurate and I have had no issues. It is slightly more bulky than the Garmin, but I cannot tell the difference when wearing it.
