It was so easy to install and it works great. I won’t even tell you what Best Buy wanted to charge me. Get the battery here, watch a YouTube video, and save yourself a couple hundred bucks!

My wife and I both have the same laptops, and both were no longer holding a charge, so I bought two of these. It was a little tricky getting the case open, but I found youtube video on that and was able to get them open. Installed the batteries, and now they are like new again. Both of us are happy with the new batteries. Much cheaper than buying new laptops. By the time these wear out, we'll need new laptops anyway due to technology advances. It does come with a couple of small screwdrivers and a plastic wedge tool, which I didn't find the wedge very useful. Used a pen knife instead for separating the case halves.

I am incredibly pleased with this product. I was absolutely dreading having to put it into my HP Laptop 15-ef0xxx . The replacement battery was listed as # L11119-855 but was incredibly hard to track down. I've only had this laptop 4 years and already it's really difficult to track down accurate parts.Because of the helpful post below, I was able to locate this battery.Thanks to Amazon's ease of return, I was comfortable trying this battery, and it WORKS!I watched a few youtubers and got to it. I'm not a tech person at all. Absolute n00b. BUT - I followed the youtubers, and am grateful that this pack also came with the screwdrivers and plastic plate lifter (to try to lift the base apart without scratching the cover) I did scratch the laptop cover in a few small places, and removing the base was the hardest part (couple of broken fingernails ouch) but everything else was so easy, I'm still in shock. However, as I'm writing this review on my laptop, without the charging cord, I can say it was as easy as these things can be. Thank goodness for youtubers and tech geeks and this very affordable battery. Use that to search HP PartSurfer, google it for resellers, try Amazon or eBay are other options. Try and get a HP part, the age of the laptop may leave you with no other option than a generic replacement battery, but they are less in price. Read reviews of the product if you want to go generic. There are some decent ones, and a lot of junk ones.

Battery fit is good and it charges. The only thing is it runs out in 4 hrs. My original bat lasts a lot longer than that. Its fine I guess.

This is the second defective battery I have purchased for my hp laptop in the past 2 weeks. These cheap batteries from China will not fully charge. The first one would only charge to 60%. I returned it and purchased a second one assuming the first was just a fluke. Well, this one only charges to 50%. Very disappointed that Amazon would stick with these cheap defective batteries. Lesson learned.
