The adhesive sometimes wants to peel off the back of the magnet, so watch out for that. I ended up having to use an exacto knife to slice the magnets apart as I didn't want my fingers to touch the adhesive before I was ready to use it. I think I'd probably like them better if they were not attached and came on a sheet to pull off. The magnification of two of them together wasn't great either. I wanted them for bookmark magnets and they wouldn't go together nicely. I had to fiddle around to find two they would even really magnetize one to the other
