Product is too short. If you use the handles above the doors it is barely long enough to use the clips. If you what to use the suction cups you loose 1.5 to 2 inches on each side and the strap is no longer long enough to thread theough the clips. The velcro holding the straps is weak. Not strong enough to hold the rods up on the end with the reels. The suction cups work well...about the only part that does.

Fortunately I have a sewing machine with heavy nylon thread in it to repair the stitching on this.It came this way out of the package. This strap would be unusable without repair as it is completely unattached but for a thread or two and ready to fail.Other than that not much to say: nylon straps, sturdy and the suction cups seem to function unlike some of the other reviews say. The suction cup has a movable handle you open it until it is at right angles with the fixed handle, you press the session cup against the window glass and then you bring the two handles together and it fastens it to the window.Make sure you clean the glass and the surface of the suction cup first with rubbing alcohol or window cleaner or some sort of evaporating cleaner first and it will hold strong.I do wish my windows were higher in the back though because where the suction cups fasten has the strap hanging about 6" down from the roof and in the middle of my back window. But that's a function of the car design and not the fishing rack holder straps.

I appreciate the concept of this suction mount system; however, the suction cups failed to remain attached. I should have listened to the reviews about suction cups failing. I ended up buying different suction cups, and the system works.

As mentionned in many other reviews, the suction cup are useless, both with the help of a 4$ pack of superglue, you get a safe, strong holding, convenient way to carry many rods. Giving that after spending 4 more dollars on 15$ products made if perfect for my needs, i'd recommend it!

Works great for the price. I had low expectations. However, this contraption keeps the poles up and off your seats, right in the middle so no one gets slapped by poles. Two of the suction cups that I didn’t use, I attached to the inside of the back window. So when I’m fishing and my trunk lid is up, I stick a wet towel through them so I have a rag to clean my hands with.Edit: On a hot day, both suction cups failed and broke.

The seller delivered quickly, no issues with that at all. The rod rack itself is sturdy but I find it too long, I wrapped it around the grab handles in our SUV multiple times to take up the slack. There are detachable clips that I cant figure out a use for, no instructions. I may well be overlooking something but will probably cut those off. Overall a good inexpensive piece, nice upgrade from the parachord I had previously strung up which allowed the rods to come together and slide around. Keeps the rods up out of the way and undamaged in transit.

The suction cups didn't stay stuck, but I improvised since my SIL car didn't have back handles... but worked great for our trip and kept poles up off floor so they didn't get broken

The car i put in was Rav4 2021. Easy to install. I tested harness with 4 fishing rods for 3 days. It worked good.

If you have kids. (Which I’m assuming you do since you have an suv.) they will be able to reach up and grab the poles and start pulling on them. It rips the whole thing down. I’ve had it for a few months now and the suction is starting to lose its hold but it’s still a fair product. Saves room for sure.
