If you don’t want to spend huge money on a guitar this is the go to. The fretboard feels very good and the overall feel of the guitar is great. The pickups are good enough for the price point.

Ordered one day in the morning and received it a day and a half later, came well packaged and in great condition, has one tiny little nick on the back edge which you would never know without totally examining it, setup was great and almost came in tune., very happy with the guitar, thanks again for the quick delivery. This guitar is very versatile, and lightweight. I just love the finish and the wizard 3 neck. I'm able to play some songs on it that I'm not able to do on some of my other guitar

DO NOT ALLOW THIS REVIEW TO STOP YOU FROM BUYING FROM SELLER:The guitar is beautiful. Unfortunately, the neck has down bow. Truss Rod made no difference. Pickup wiring was partially out. The saddle was uneven. There was significan buzz on 1st and 2nd fret. The action was all over the place. The neck was clearly defective. This has become the standard for Ibanez with the RG and SA models. I blame Ibanez quality control for this. There is no excuse for Ibanez to allow those guitars that have these type of issues to pass for sake. Unfortunately, the ones who suffer the most are the customer and the seller, in most cases the seller is not at fault - the seller who sold me the guitar refunded my purchase with no argument. I did make another purchase. It's a true travesty because this model is beautifully designed, but due to poor quality control, this model I can never trust. The seller was great and refunded promptly. I gladly will do business with the seller

The first guitar I received had many surface imperfections on the top of the body along with large globs of glue on the top of the fretboard between frets 2-6. I've never seen so much excess glue on a guitar before. Not even on a $100 budget guitar. There was also a huge dent in the fretboard on the 12th fret. Likely due to a machining issue. I sent it back and received a replacement very quickly. The 2nd guitar came with a nut that looked like it was cut with a butter knife. All off the string depths were cut wrong and had a jagged appearance. If you want an Ibanez save your money and get a Japanese model.

I have to admit, I was a little nervous at what I may receive being this guitar only cost $399. All of my other guitars cost in the thousands. I needed a guitar strictly for Metal/Hard Rock that would be tuned down. Since I only need that for a handful of songs I didn't see the need to spend a ton of money. I did my research and it brought me to this guitar. After opening the guitar and playing it here's my first impressions. Once the new strings settled the guitar stayed in tune fine. Wish it had locking tuners but at this price point you won't find that. This is the only thing I may upgrade. The neck is super smooth and plays great right out of the box, no setup needed, Amazing! Pickups I though for sure would have to be upgrade but nope, this play and sound great, no need to waste money. Some people had complaints about rough frets, wasn't an issue for my guitar.Such a solid guitar for metal and rock for $399, go ahead and buy it with confidence, plus they look great. Oh and the "paint job" is just laminate. or else that would add a few hundred on to the price tag.

This has become my favorite guitar. It's not a high end, expensive model, but it's got great sound, thin easy to play neck, and when you don't need a tremolo the fixed bridge means it doesn't go out of tune easily.
