What a great foaming soap dispenser. In the past I've had troubles with other brands' pump mechanisms not working very well. This one feels solid, pops back up after dispensing, and creates a luxurious foam. (I mix Dr. Bronner's liquid castile soap with water using the markings on the dispenser.) This one is a winner.

So listen, I love this concept. You know how you put this thick sticky soap on your hands that won't spread so easily. You put your hands under the tap to make it thinner but then it all washes away before you get to clean your hands ? This is for you ! This foams up your regular liquid soap so you can rub it on your hands properly without even any need for water.Had a similar one before from more a expensive brand but it got lost in a move. In comparison though this works just about as well. Not super high quality but feels and functions nicely. I'd say price/quality ratio is actually pretty good, possibly even better than the more expensive item I had before. Bought two but only started using one so far.One thing I did notice is that sometimes I have to pump maybe twice because I guess the foam settles back down into the tube, but that is just a minor detail to me.

The pump action started to stick, the foam turned watery.When I first received it, I filled it up and it worked great.I used it daily.After it was nearly empty, I filled it up again, and it still worked great.But then after it was nearing the time to refill it again, the pump action started to stick (meaning it wasn't returning to the same ready position without having to pull it back up), and the mix was no longer foamy but watery.I removed the top and rinsed it to see if the soap was clogging anything, but found no clogs.I tried turning the pump-action top around in it's collar to see if that would help, but it made no difference.I will be trying another vendor for future purchases.

I love foaming hand soap - it makes it so easy to wash your hands. This bottle lets me turn regular liquid hand soap into foaming hand soap. The marking for the soap level and water level are very helpful; no more guessing. The bottle is a pleasing shape; it's not glass so it doesn't break when the cat decides to play on the sink, and the pump works dependabley every time. The only drawback to plastic soap bottles is that they can hold onto the scent of whatever is put into them, but that may not be true of this one. I haven't tried changing scents in it. This is a good enough value that I will most likely purchase a few more so I can have one near each sink, and use different soap scents in each one. I highly recommend it.

Nachdem wir eigentlich zufällig vor einigen Jahren einen Seifenspender fanden, der Schaum liefert, wollten wir keinen anderen mehr. Leider fanden wir bei dem gleichen Hersteller inzwischen kein weiteres Produkt in der Art und stießen dann auf den iDesign Schaumseifenspender. Im Nachhinein muss ich jetzt sagen, dass sich das als großer Vorteil erwies. der iDesign ist nicht nur preisgünstiger als der andere Spender, sondern liefert auch angenehmeren (dichteren) Schaum

I love this dispenser. I use foaming soap in my bathroom and kitchen, and I purchase large refill bottles of the soap so I'm always refilling the bottles I have. But I'm never happy with the flimsy bottles in which the soap originally comes. The pump mechanism makes those units top-heavy so they topple or slide around when you push on the pump. But these InterDesign bottles have a larger round base and are much more sturdy. Plus, they look much better than the brand bottles! The brushed chrome finish matches the hardware and other accessories in my bathroom and looks like it belongs as part of the decor.I loved this enough to purchase a second one for my kitchen and I've had my dispensers for about a month now. The pump mechanism has not stopped working on either bottle. I'm currently using regular liquid soap mixed with water (amount/ratio indicators on the bottle) instead of foaming soap and it works great! Given what I paid, I'll be happy if these dispensers last a year.I did deduct a star because one of my dispensers leaked. At first I thought I and my guests were just going through a lot of soap during the holidays. But last night I filled the bottle, dried it and set it on a dry paper towel. Sure enough this morning approximately one inch of soap had drained from the bottle. There is a seam on the bottom of the bottle and I suspect it was defective or was damaged in the delivery process. I'm returning that bottle for a replacement since my other bottle has no such issue. The Amazon return process is pain-free, so this was an easy decision.UPDATE: I received my replacement bottle and when I was transferring the soap from the old to the new, I noticed that my old bottle was actually cracked. I'm certain this was not a defect in the bottle. In fact, I'm probably the one who dropped it and didn't notice it had a tiny crack in it. I notified Amazon that I would not be sending it back and to simply charge me for the replacement but they told me to keep both bottles and they aren't charging me for the replacement. THAT is customer service! I've added in the previously deducted star. Thank you Amazon and InterDesign!PS - the pump on my dispenser is still working fine. Based on my experience with other foaming soap dispensers (and some of the other reviewers' advice) I'm sure it will be a matter of running hot water through the mechanism to loosen and dissolve dried up gluey soap when it does happen.

Great to have. We have purchased several of these-- one for the kitchen, and one for each bathroom -- so 4 in total now.The kitchen one seems to have worn out, though. The pump does not fully return to an up position without some help. I've taken it apart and tried cleaning out the aerator (it had developed a bit of gunk somehow) and then pumped about 2 cups of water through it to make sure soap buildup had flushed through. Unfortunately, it didn't help.All in all, this is great to have when you have kids. Rather than losing 90% of the soap down the drain it delivers a more effective soapy mixture into their hands. The appearance fits perfectly into our bathroom and kitchen design/color as they're all oil brushed bronze appearance.
