Amazing addition to my vehicle to keep anything chilled. Powers back up when power starts again. example: you have it plugged into your 12 volt plug in the trunk and the cooler is running. You park and stop the car, electricity stops in the car. Cooler turns off. You get back in the car and as long as your 12v plug turns back on the cooler automatically starts back up!

Exactly as advertised. Either 12 volt or A/C kept food frozen for days. Very pleased

I like the light weight design of this cooler. I drive trucks over the road and this is the perfect size to meal prep in. I like the fact it has the AC and DC cords included because I leave the AC cord at home and the DC in the truck so I can plug it in with ease. This is hands down a better option to a mini fridge for portability and ease of cleaning.

I have a lot of experience with 12V coolers between the Wynter and Apicool Mini that I have in my van and my BougeRV that I have for my 4Runner. So I can provide a pretty good comparison in the short term, but I don't yet have enough run time on this to give a lot of reliability insights yet. I'll update this review as I learn more. And I've ready through several of the bad reviews to see what to look for. Many of those bad reviews state that you have to buy the 110V power adapter separately. It appears they've updated the product since then, it now comes with both a 12V and 110V power cords and the inverter is built into the cooler. Many state it's poor design to have to pre-cool the cooler for best results. It's my experience this is the case with all these 12V coolers. At least this one is an actual compressor vs the pure electric cooling systems. Some said because it didn't come with a 110V option that pre-cooling for 3 hours is problematic, that's true but again since now it comes with the 110V option that's no longer a problem. All that said, it's also my experience that if you start out with cold food you don't need to pre-cool the unit too. This is rated to go down to only 0 DegF, which can be a bit of a problem if you are looking to keep things in a deeper freeze, like ice cream. I've found with other coolers that go down to -8 DegF keep ice cream firmer. What I did find is that setting the cooler to 0, the internal temp got no cooler than 9. That was letting it run overnight in a room maintained around 65 degF ambient. So that's not a very good statistic. My sensor was sitting on the bottom of the cooler.Other coolers I have tend to swing at least 4 degF and sometimes more before kicking on. This unit swung only 1 degF. This can be good and bad, it should have an economy mode that allows it to swing more if desired since that saves power. This is the quietest of all my compressor coolers, which can be a pretty big deal if you're trying to sleep with this in a car or other close corridors.I like the size of the 60 Qt for a one person weekend trip. An option to expand the capacity of something like this is to use the cooler in freezer mode and maintain a set of freezer ice packs in it that you swap out with a bigger, regular cooler. This ran fine off my power station and didn't use any more power than my others. But again, I only tested it overnight in a cool place. If this is sitting in a hot car in the summer, that's a very different test. I hope to do such a test soon.I docked a star from my rating because of the discrepancy between the digital readout on the cooler compared to my temperature sensor. And the instructions are a bit difficult to understand when trying to figure out all the settings. All that said, so far I like it a lot for it's quietness and as a cooler. I'd have to do more testing to see how well it works as a freezer, but I'm not expecting much as a freezer.
