Too long. If you screw it all the way down, your e-brake will not work. Subaru 2015 WRS STI for reference.

Mounted in my 2015 Subaru wrx sti very simple only have to get a nut for it so the push button does not go all the way in and won’t release the emergency brake works perfectly love it easy to release the brake
