These have been a life saver, you get a decent amount of sizes and I love the extension so you can reach this hard to reach places. These have held up to my abuse so far and have been a great addition to my toolbox for the money.

4" long bits that are impact rated are perfect for those times you want that extra torque you can't get with the typical short L-shaped Allen Wrenches. Comes in both SAE (5/64”,up to 5/16”, and Metric (1.5mm up to 8mm. This should be 5 stars, but for me quality control in manufacturing is very important and that is where this set stumbles and loses the star. If you look at the closeup you will see 2 of the SAE and 1 of the metric bits has a slightly different (hex instead of round) part in the shaft. It seems as if they had 2 designs that intermixed and was not caught before sold. That should not have happened. Is it going to affect the way those perform? Probably not and I will use it confidently despite the flaw.

I like this set of hex keys designed for impact wrench’s. They fit a standard 1/4” fitting and they do not bind in the chuck after use. The metal is very much hardened as they are not stripping out or slipping in stainless steel hex key bolts which I have experienced in the past. The cut hex heads run all the way to the end of the bits and are not rounded off at the ends. The four (4”) inch reach is a plus especially working with electronics and fixing items that have plastic casings that require a reach into the housing to apply or back out a screw. The set is held together with a plastic holder that does not add much but does keep the tools in one group and the bonus in this set is that there are two sets that came in the package which contain a full array of common sizes.

Good set of bits. I tried them out on my laser head using a driver handle, engine using an impact (running SHC screws in and out) and they work very well. Each bit is marked and easy to read. Made out of S2, they should last quite a while. And the holders for the SAE and Metric hold the bits tight, really tight. All sizes are magnetic and hold the screws securely which is very helpful when going down and inside of something such as motors or blowers. These worked very well with button head, flathead or cap screws. Much better that Allen keys. They even include an extension. I recommend.

I put a CNC machine together recently and needed to make some adjustments to it. I needed several of the metric bits to perform the job I needed to do. It's great to be able to insert the bits directly into my driver and the tool holds the bit in the driver so it won't be separated from the tool unless you want it to be.The bits are well made and easily insert into the hex screw. It's also nice to have both metric and SAE bits but it would be even better if they were color coded. Both sets have an orange colored section. It the metric bits were red and the SAE bits orange, that would have been useful. However, this is a minor thing and I'm very happy with the set.

BRETREEAD Impact 4’’ Long Hex Head Allen Wrench Drill Bit Set 20PCS(Metric & SAE)These appear to be well made, and the sizes are accurate. Though these seem to be well suited for use with a drill, the will also work well with a multi bit screw driver. They are particularly useful in place of an allen wrench for those allen screws that are recessed down a narrow hole that shorter bits wont reach.
