I had these on 2 cars. They look great for the first year or so. Then they start fading and after a couple of years the coating peels off the stainless and they look awful and have to be recoated or replaced. I replaced these with silicone. I wouldn't recommend silicone frames either.

comes with a 2 inch extension and 3 inch extension , which both are short for my gls front grill .had to ran to home depot pick up a M6 5 inch bolt and nut for about 3 dollars . put both pieces on , fits perfectly . although the connection between the bolt and plate holder is movable , after couple days of driving , its not moving at all . so i think it wont be an issue . overall 4 stars

I needed to replace the ones my car came with. It was a good value for the price. It was sturdy and had no missing pieces. It did what it was supposed to do. If I need to replace the ones on my other car, I would definitely purchase this again.

The screws that come with this plate frame are far too large - any screw with a wide head will work, likely the ones already on your plates (which is what I did). The screws get covered by the provided caps anyway, so it's not a huge deal. The frame itself seems nice, does the trick and hold the plate firmly to the car without covering any of the details of the plate. I used this to replace a frame advertising the dealer, which I prefer not to do and it does the trick for that quite nicely.

Used these to replace dealer installed plate holders with a large, ugly logo. The materials provided here did the job nicely. Multiple screw choices, plus black screw covers.Also installed one on a six year old vehicle which had a salt-rusted polished stainless steel plate holder. Although very rusty, inside and out, the old holder was made of thicker material. I was happy to install these, as they hold the plate adequately, and look while doing it. The screw covers worked for the old screws on the second vehicle, making it better than before. The black coating should keep winter road salt from rusting the holder.

Amazing product comes with different screws which was handy very durable will not rust looks to be powder coated u get plastic caps to hide the screws very neat now my plate is 100% visible highly recommend worth every penny

I got these for my relocated license plate as I was sick of people bending it. Happily these guys are pretty sturdy and light meaning they won’t make my plate shift and become not level any faster than they would have before. The finish is nice and I don’t think they will rust. If they do I’ll update this review to reflect that.

This license plate frame is just right. It is made out of metal, so it gives it a good sense of sturdiness. I liked that it had 4 holes for screws. For some reason, my back plate had 4 and the front only had 2, but that's o.k. It has little tabs on the back side to help keep the license plate in its place. The plastic screw covers are a nice touch. Makes the cover look complete and solid looking. Very pleased with the frame!! Great price as well!! It costs a few dollars more to just get one at the local car shop. You get two, comes in a small padded pouch. Good little frame!

We bought these frames because my wife bought a new vehicle and she didn't like that the dealership put their logo frames on the car. What can I say about a license plat frame that has little functionality. These are a quality frame - ie: well made. The plate fits perfectly inside and the frame is easy to install. Best of all not only are they black but they come with screw covers so that you don't even see the silver screws. Everything you need is included. You'll get sheet metal screws, some machine screws, covers, and they give you extra of those in case you need them later on. All in all I'm very pleased with the purchase and can recommend these.
