I use this tool for road tuning pretty often. Apart from the reviews saying to tape it to the exhaust (which I have done) it’s a solid purchase! Great for tuning on the road, and on the dyno. Highly recommend!!

I made my own air fuel meter to use on not catalyst vw engines.I wanted something that could be used as a exhaust probe without having to cut and install a exhaust bung. This did the trick. I am not driving them with this installed but it does stay in place when setting them up at idle.Item arrived on time and as described. No issues with item or seller.

I don’t regret a single penny of the money spent. I work on generators and it is very useful for troubleshooting

Je l'ai essayé 2 fois. Ca à l'air de fonctionner meme si en bout de ligne d echappement les valeurs au ralenti sont approximatives..Par contre c'est vraiment trop cher pour ce que c'est..d'ou l'etoile manquante

Seems like a nifty idea, but exactly as others have described, it's prone to easily fall off. It doesn't give an accurate reading at idle due to insufficient flow, so you have to drive it to get a good read. Seems like it was really designed for dyno use which is great, but most reputable dyno shops have AF available in house. Need it to be able to hang on at the track or on the street, it wasn't cheap.***Update*** I wrapped a few rounds of electrical tape around it, double nutted it, and zip tied it to the exhaust hanger. I also put a small patch of tool box liner under the mounting point. Survived several burnouts and 100+mph 1/8 passes! When I got home it was exactly where I put it.

The assembly itself is well made & will work in just about any application, from motor cycles to the big brutes, diesel's & such. I decided to use the weld on bungs & O2 sensors, as opposed to the tail pipe method (my preferance).Good luck with it.Kiefer

I ordered this tailpipe clamp because i wanted to be able to monitor air/fuel ratios without having a fitting welded into my exhaust pipe. The clamp worked as expected and the build quality is top notch. The clamping screw CAN loosen after a while so some duct tape shouldbe used if you plan to drive the vehicle during the test. Also i read that it's best to place the wide band O2 sensor upstream of catalyticconverter so that should be something to consider before buying this. The vehicle that I am testing does not legally require a cat so that's not an Issue for me.

Installed this in the exhaust and it helped me fix a lean condition in about 5 minutes. I was just guessing before but now I have everything I need to test the car to my skill level.I hope to install bungs one day but really, might not need to. I can use it in friends cars too.
