It will not work for taking multiple samples grid sampling it takes a 2" round sample cant even get in ground most of the time

Broke during first hour of use. The ejector part comes in two pieces. Before I even took 100 samples the bottom flat part that actually does the ejection came off while I was walking around in my pasture with 4 to 16 inch grass and was lost.Very disappointed.

I just received the soil probe and haven't tried it yet, but I was so excited over the obvious quality of the thing that I had to jump on here and comment. Number 1: High quality stainless steel, does not hold a magnet. Number 2: Very solid construction, heavy duty tool. Will last a lifetime I imagine. Number 3: It appears that the sample ejector will actually work! Very nice tool. Will follow this up after I use it. Worth the $$$
