The NUC Front Panel GbE Adapter with RS-232 Serial Port is a hardware component designed for Intel's Next Unit of Computing (NUC) devices. It adds two important features to the NUC - an Ethernet port and an RS-232 serial port. This adapter plugs into the front panel of the NUC and connects to the NUC's motherboard via an internal USB 2.0 header.

With state-of-the-art DSP technology and mixed-mode signal technology, the Gbe Adapter offers high-speed transmission over CAT 5 UTP cable or CAT 3 UTP (10Mbps only) cable. Supports Microsoft Wake Packet Detection (WPD).
