Great set for a beginner. Had some issues with the connectors unscrewing as I worked with it. This is an issue with pretty much all interchangeable sets as far as I can tell. Great quality for the price. Cords are swivel and straighten out without an issue. Overall, a great value for the beginner. I’m sure I will replace this set with a name brand one at some point. But for now, it works to get me started.

I have only ever knitted with straight needles before so while I am not a beginner knitter, I am a beginner with these connected style needles. I start with this because it means that I don't have a specific comparison to other similar styles. With that in mind - I have really enjoyed this set.The needle sizes are interchangeable and the wires can be connected to create different lengths depending on your project. They are lightweight and easy to use. They fit in my hands really well and the wire is flexible but rigid enough that I did not have to worry about them getting tangled or looped. My favorite feature is how compact the entire set is when traveling. I like to knit and crochet in the car so I usually only have one or two needle sizes with me just because they are so long. With these all breaking down to fit into the little pouch (Which is super cute and looks like a little clutch purse) and everything fitting inside for easy swaps and access, this has been a game changer for me.I am very satisfied with this product and already prefer it to straight needles.

OK - let’s start out with the fact that I do not like red. I won’t wear it, and I don’t buy red things (before you get political, it’s related to my college rivalry). But I like knitting needle sets, and I thought I’d thought I’d give this inexpensive set a try.I was not disappointed!Pros: - Case - this little envelope clutch is sort of sexy. It looks like a vintage handbag, although it is PVC. It is nice compact storage for a LOT of stuff. - Needle variety - 3.0 mm to 10.0 mm - Needle quality - these are aluminum, so they are lightweight and have a nice smooth feel in your hands. - Cords - coated stainless steel swivel cords with smooth joins to the needles. And there is only one cord diameter for all the needle sizes. These cords are interchangeable with some other Chinese needles I have, but not Knitters Pride/Knit Picks/Knit Pro or Chaigoo). - Extras - several cables, four needle stops, and a couple of cord connectors.CONS - Metric sizing on the needles - learn metric sizes or get a needle gauge, because these don’t have US sizing stamped on them. - Needle length - these are about 4.5” tips, so the shortest cables is going to be too long for a hat without magic loop. - Cords - not interchangeable with other popular brands - Aluminum needles - some folks hate this. They can be hard for beginners, as the yarn can slide too easily, and the needles can bend or dent.Overall, this is a great entry into interchangeable needles, and a great price. I believe they come in a variety of colors, so if you also hate red, there are options.

This is a very pretty knitting set. I love the red needles. The cables hold up well and don't snag. I really don't like the bag, though. It's difficult to get the card with the needles on it out of the bag.

I have several sets of interchangeable knitting needles since I often have multiple projects going at one time, plus I like to use two needle sets for two at a time items like socks and arm warmers. This set of knitting needles is very nice, and is pleasing to use.The needle points are a bit blunter than my other favorite set, which works out when using yarn that's prone to splitting. The needles are smooth and silky to the touch, and yarns move fairly easily across them. They aren't slick and prone to slipping the stitches off, I find their surface to be a nice middle ground between too slick and too grabby. The needle sizes are clearly marked on the needles and easy to read. The cords are sturdy and don't hold memory, and flex easily as I work. The stitches move effortlessly cross the join of the cords to the needles, and the needles stay affixed to the cords. The cods of this set are longer than most other circular needle set that I have, which makes it excellent for sweaters, blankets, and other large knitting projects. The metal cord stoppers that are included in this set are so much nice than the plastic discs that were typical of these interchangeable sets. They give a nice counter-balance of weight, and are more reliable staying on the cords, plus they look much nicer. This knitting needle set comes in a slim, envelope like case that's great for stowing in a project bag and for travel, and looks quite sophisticated.I really like this knitting needle set. It's comprehensive, elegant, and space efficient!Interchangeable Circular Knitting Needles Set Sizes US 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10.5, 11, 13, 15 with Cables, Accessories and Case (Rose Red)
