Ives by Schlage 59A-716 Hand Rail Bracket Aged Bronze, 2.75 x 1.50 x 3.25The stair railing bracket I originally purchased on Amazon didn't fit, luckily this replacement did the job.(Whoever installed this railing originally used different parts and had mismatching screws. No wonder the bracket broke off.) The railing is now properly installed :)

I'm happy to say they were the same size as the original ones I needed to add to. However, the original ones were made in the '30s so the metal was definitely better. But these will do just nicely.

Very nice, super sturdy, great shape and design...sort of sexy. They give a high end look to a utilitarian hand rail. I could not find anything with this level of appeal at any of the box hardware stores, or on an internet search...odd. But they were here! Beauty, form and function. Highly recommend.
