…by my limited experience. I’ve owned a few potters wheels over the years. Nothing super expert or professional level, but something more for a novice who would enjoy becoming a more regular, experienced pottery creator. Since I AM an Artist (of other mediums pencil/paint/photography to name a couple), the old nickname or cliche commonly known for us creative types (starving artist) COMPLETELY applies to me. I’m not literally wasting away, but I’m certainly not well to do. Definitely a poor artist for sure. So to be able to invest in the really nice, full, and professional setup of a ceramicist, as a novice, was as much a reality as was my chances of becoming wealthy working my own trade lol. So my wheels were definitely not impressive, to say the least. And though this one is priced significantly lower than one or two I have played with over the years, it’s a much more hardy wheel. And much more of a realistic, adult version. It’s nice looking as well. So for the price, I’m impressed. And now all I have to do is purchase the entire remaining parts of a fully rotating potters wheel. It’ll be a slow, process to complete as it’ll require saving for. But it’s a great start! The pieces of pottery I have set atop it to test- stayed out where it was meant to be during the creating process. So I feel good about it.

The rubber foot on the base was pinched during production or shipping so doesn’t fit properly but good enough I guess.

This spins easily allowing for carving and decorative painting on pottery. The size is adequate and I consider this a must have in the studio.
