Awesome product. It not only removes the stains from the original application site, but the chemicals circulate through the system and brighten any other similar materials, i.e, spa.Caution should used; however, these chemicals will affect your chlorine levels. Test your water!

Was disappointed in the results we received. Was looking to get rid of some rust spots, followed the directions - filter not running, chemicals within the recommended specs and the look of the steps resulted in a very dirty look, worse than just the original rust spots. Attached an image of the steps, there was a glistening in the water as we got into the pool to hand brush the steps (to no avail).After 4 hours, the steps are looking much better (2nd picture attached), the rust spots are still there but a bit lighter. Guessing the timing of seeing results is 2-3 hours not minutes.

I am one of those “receive atleast one package a day from Amazon kinda person” So, I order A LOT of crap- not all, but some stuff I order I’m instantly regretful. Our pool stairs were yellow, and it looked to be rust? Yet, the water sparkling clear. We have had a pool for almost a decade so we know what we are doing. After it opened this year we just could not get rid of the stains! It was driving me nuts so I decided to order this. Briefly read the directions, poured- waited- poured-waited-scrubbed! I have never seen anything like it- gone. It was ALL GONE. I was left with gorgeous white stairs with nothing left but a bright pink stain from where I poured the solution on the first stair that was not completely submerged. My fault completely. I didn’t panic, my husband did- shocker. Next morning - pink stain gone (bummer). I was just getting used to the idea of a pink stair in our pool! I can’t possible say enough good things about this product. If you enjoy instant gratification, get this immediately. I am so happy I took the plunge!! Pun intended! Happy pool season!

Our steps had brown staining all over them that we could not get out no matter how hard we scrubbed. We poured this liquid and powder over the steps and it immediately made the brown staining vanish like magic. We were shocked that we hadn’t even scrubbed and the steps look like brand new again!

I don’t why anyone would complain about this product. I have used it for 7 years now and it always turns my steps bright white in less than 5 min. The people complaining about this are probably dealing with a bad situation because they don’t maintain their pools properly and wait until it looks horrible to try to fix it.

This Step Stuff is AMAZING! I wish I would have taken a before and after picture. Our steps were stained and I had tried scrubbing them with a cleaning brush, I also used a magic eraser, which helped but getting in the grooves required a lot of effort. We applied the 2-step process to the steps and within seconds the stains were gone!! We applied mainly to the top two steps which came mostly clean but I thought we would have to buy another box to "finish the job" but after our robotic vacuum cleaned the pool the next morning the steps were white and clean as brand new steps!! What a great product, and even greater results!
