The tuners were junk but the guitar is really cool.

Experienced player needing a cheaper travel guitar. This just became my favorite!!! Smooth, low action. Highly responsive pickups. Stable tuners. Buttery smooth playing! It snaps! Tone is 10/10.Treat yourself. This is one heck of an axe! 🤘

First time ordering a guitar online before I got to try it out and it’s a pretty solid guitar. Feels comfortable and good. Sounds pretty good with my current setup. Obviously with some maintenance it will sound and feel better. Good bang for your buck if you are looking to upgrade but not break the bank.

My son loves it. He’s ‘intermediate’ at playing (Metallica, nirvana, GD etc) and this works well for him. He loves the sound. Knobs and frame are built well and sturdy. Connection to amp is well connected and sturdy as well. We couldn’t go wrong for the price. (Sorry, I’m not a guitar player so don’t know the exact names like what the strut is or knobs, keys etc..but it’s all built well!!) lol ..

pros awesome look, great feel, high out pickups are great nice zebra look, guitar was set up near perfectcons tuning keys need replacement too much free play, the nut may need to be refile due to sickle head (which looks awesome), I looked at pots looks like it could be upgraded (pots output jack and toggle switch)It's a nice-looking guitar plays and feels good... I recommend these upgradesI think the Jackson pickups are just as good as SD pickups

I’ve wanted one these baby’s since I was 12 but never got one. But recently with all this work I’ve been doing I decided “what the hell” and bought this specific one. It sounds amazing looks great and feels like no other guitar I own. I absolutely love the Jackson js32 line of guitars. Always will

Got my V today. I like the looks of it plays good. I also have a dime bag razorback n the V sounds way better!!! The only thing I don't like about it is it's got a lot of static but that can easily b fixed by just adding some shielding to it n I'll make a few other upgrades n it'll sound awesome!!!!!

As far as looks go... this guitar looks great. As for tone however... I have a Jackson Kelly made of poplar and it sounds miles above this King V model which is also made of poplar. I usually don't take issue with Jackson models but this King V does not have the tonal quality that I expected. No matter what I connected it to... it sounded like a first act guitar like the ones sold at Walmart. I have and $89.00 guitar that I purchased here on Amazon and even it sounds way better than the King V that I received. I am returning it solely on the grounds that it does not sound like a good instrument. Maybe I received a bad model... who knows but that is why I gave it 3 stars. The shipping was fast and the seller I take no issue with. As for Jackson making an entry level King V out of poplar... in my opinion it was not a good choice of wood for this particular model. I have heard other King Vs that are made with better wood bodies and believe me you can hear the difference immediately. A 15 year old just starting out on guitar might not care nor notice the tonal issues... but I have played for years and my ears picked up on it right away. The neck on it and the pick ups are just what I'd expect from Jackson... but the poplar body robbs this guitar of the majority of the quality that makes up the rest of it. As for the paint job... it says its Ferrari red... and it may be... but it looks like ordinary red to me... so nothing spectacular stands out for me as far as the paint job goes. Had there been metal flake on it it might have been more attractive but it just looks plain red. This is a Jackson guitar but it does not live up to the Jackson reputation in my opinion.
