The blade is extremely sharp. Had to modify the blade with new holes to fit pole bracket, no big deal. The only grip I have is that the blade is on the thin side. Over all, it cuts fast and effortlessly. Would buy again!

I absolutely love my Jameson pole pruner. It gets a lot of use on my property back in the woods. The time finally came for a new replacement blade, and it arrived quickly, just in time to swap out the old one and take care of some branches overhanging my driveway that large delivery trucks and the fire department aren't a fan of.

I bought this blade as a replacement for the factory blade on my Fiskars extension saw. I can't remember if I misread the description or fit application but I can confirm that it will NOT fit a Fiskars saw. I made it work by drilling supplemental holes in the mounting plate of the pole saw and bolting it in place but it was tiresome. And then I used it. TBH, it seems to be plenty sharp but the blade is very thin and flexible. Maybe for hardwood it would work better but for palm branches in S Florida, it was no better and maybe a little worse than the blade that came with the saw. There are a lot of 5-star reviews that are probably warranted but my experience was mediocre. I'll check the fit application to see if my saw is listed and will edit accordingly.

I previously gave this a bad review but I was attempting to attach the blade incorrectly to my pole saw. (I was being stupid). I have now attached it correctly and have tested it thoroughly and it works very well! It cuts like a hot knife through butter!

Why because it cuts like a champ. Why because it is a double sided blade that cuts on the forward and backward stroke. Why because it is a quality designed product. It cuts large mature Cabbage Palms in one stroke how great is that ! It cuts larger diameter hardwood trees such as oaks better than any other blade every used. Would repurchase as I already have and would recommend. Good product ! Good Price ! Good Results !

This is a Pro-quality tool. If you keep it clean (I use wax on the blade before cutting) and take pains to remove pitch build-up, it will help to get the job done quickly. It is Super-Sharp, so be very careful. I use heavy duty gloves and avoid getting hung up on the teeth. Great Tool and excellent addition to the tree-trimming collection.

This Jameson SB-16TE Barracuda Tri-Cut blade has viciously sharp teeth, as a good pruning saw should. The blade has a 16-inch row of teeth and is 18-inches long overall with three positioning holes to change the blades cut angle on the saw head. It is made from good quality brushed steel and has worked well on the oak and pine branches I test cut with it. The curve on this blade is a little less pronounced than on the Hastings A11000 blade I also have, so that can sometimes work to your advantage under certain conditions. This Tri-Cut blade mounts perfectly on the Jameson PS-3FP pole saw head.
