Heavy enough not to tip over and lovely firm sauce/sushi cups that are beautiful stone ware with splash of glazed color. I am adding to my Japanese collection and plan to buy the whole dish ware set!

These little bowls are just perfect for so many uses -- in so many ways! & this is my 3rd time ordering them ... I was so impressed I ordered a set for gifting to a friend ... and they, too, just loves them! I use them mainly as individual dishes for my homemade bread-dipping oil ... so not only can everybody pick & choose certain add-on ingredients .... but also no risk of cross-contamination from double-dipping. ;-) Yep ... these bowls are top quality, and all three times arrived well packaged with zero damage .... and fast!

They're very pretty and seem robust enough to handle normal usage. But I have a couple of small gripes.First, one came with a small chip at the base. It's not the end of the world and certainly not worth sending back all the way to California, but it's not perfect and I've knocked a star off for it.Second, they're not quite as bright as shown in the pics. Again, it's not the end of the world and they certainly do look good still, but a photo should accurately represent the item.4 stars.

These are wonderful bowls, very sturdy and they remind me of stoneware.The packing was exceptional.I'll be using one for used tea bags and the rest will be used for a "catch all" for small items throughout the house and for craft items.I've very pleased with the bowls.

These were perfect for what I bought them for. Packaged very well. Sturdy, don't feel like they will break easily. Very pretty. Not quite as bright as the pictures but still very pretty.

These soy dishes were exactly what I hoped for. They are deep enough to to be useful without being too large. Plus they are very pretty!
