Replaces Canon RC-1/RC-6
The JJC IS-C1 Wireless Infrared Remote Control is for select Canon cameras and replaces Canon RC-1&RC-6 remote. It allows you to operate your compatible camera’s shutter release from up to 19 feet/6 meters, with the choice of instant release, 2-second delay, bulb shutter and video record. This remote control connects easily to your camera letting you take self-portraits, group shots or more challenging film compositions. Compact and extremely lightweight, the IS-C1 can fit easily into your pocket.

- Single Shoot:
1.In the camera menu, turn on the remote control option.
2.Half press to focus.
3.Full press to take a photo.
- Blub Shutter:
1. Set the camera to the BULB mode.
2.Press the SHUTTER button to begin the exposure.
3.Press the SHUTTER button again when you want to stop the exposure.
- Note* Video Function Compatibility
The wireless remote can initiate the video function on Canon DSLR cameras, such as the 70D, 5D series and Rebel series, however it is advisable to check your camera's instruction manual to make sure that remote video recording with the original RC-6 is supported by your camera.
Why I can’t use this infrared remote?
- Make sure that you have selected the self-timer/remote control. It can’t be used for remote control shooting when the camera is paired via Bluetooth with a smartphone or wireless remote control.
- Point the remote controller toward the camera’s remote control sensor.
- If you haven’t used the remote for a long time, please check the battery before shooting.
