Pretty easy install. It helps that these guys have a video posted on YouTube. Although I wish the hoses would be just a tiny bit longer.

The ease of installation and OEM look is great!! The kit is all plug and play! Already had to empty after about 600 miles so we order the extension for the catch can. Would buy again, 5/5 stars.

First of all, I got this for my 2022 Explorer Ecoboost and ultimately decided to send back rather than risk potential warranty issues.+ This is a solid kit and the screen/baffle system looks much more effective than the ones that just use stainless mesh or a brass filter meant for an air compressor.- since these work on the theory of condensing the vapor, I was a little leery of the 3+ feet of tubing on my kit. Seems like you’d eventually end up with excessive oil in those lines…Here’s the real debate - lots of online posts showing oil and water in catch cans like these. Advocates of them freely admit much of what’s in the can is condensed water. Your engine doesn’t care about humidity in the air-it burns it right off. Also, your engine will burn off oil vapor that makes it into the combustion chamber. So the debate is this - wouldn’t 99% of the contents have cleanly burned off anyway!?!?!? I decided yes. There will be oil vapor on my valves catch can or not, and the EGR system is throwing carbon at them catch can or not. I chose to switch to a quality full-synthetic oil and to use quality fuel and leave this off. Only time will tell…

Just so you know, you will have to jack up the front drivers side of the vehicle to get under it and install the 2 hoses on the PCV line. The directions are very good and the online video is great too. After looking at the directions and watching the video, it took me about 15 minutes to install. So no big deal.
