K&K is the best sounding acoustic pickup I’d ever heard live through a PA. Last year I bought a Pure Mini and installed it in my 1967Gibson B25N, I get comments from other guitarists saying how good it sounds all the time. I’m a big believer in K&K. So I'm giving it four stars because I know it's a great product.Unfortunately I had to return this particular model because it is not properly prescribed in it's installation.I have a 1935 Gibson L4 that I’ve been wanting to play out. I ended up getting a Twin Spot because the seller's description said it would fit under the bridge. the transducers are small and only partially fit under the saddle. I just really don’t like the looks of it wedged under on one side. It looks like an uneven transfer of sound to the the soundboard and also like the transducers could mark up my soundboard with all that uneven pressure. When I checked installing instructions printed in the package and on the K&K website, there was no mention of pressure fitting it under the bridge.I contacted the manufacturer to see if I was installing it wrong. Their reply was "No, the Twin Spot is NOT the correct pickup for an under the bridge installation....that is an incorrect application statement"I found out K&K does make 2 other pickups designed for this application, The Pure Floating Bridge and The Definity. I will be purchasing the Pure Floating Bridge since it looks like what I was expecting.Hope this is helpful!

This pickup works good for my cello. I put it under my bridge and it definitley changed the sound of my cello acoustically because of the new bridge tension on the strings. Without a pre amp or pedal the notes and sounds sound tinny but you can still hear the nice digging and texture of the bow as well as some resonance. I recommend getting a nice preamp for cello to tweak the output of the sound. It was good for the price and my budget. I'd ideally get a much higher end transducer pickup if I could afford it honestly. It's not amazing but it does the job.

Good pickup. Outside body means you can reposition as vibrations shift the sensors. Good reproduction of my Loar.
