Worked perfectly on my older boat trailer. Most boat trailers today have a tapered spindle, these work great for the straight 1” spindles.

Put in the new races, lubed the bearings and put 300 miles on the trailer with motorcycles on it. Axels were always cool to the touch.

The bearings were an exact fit, and a great value. Amazon asked me to rate them for sheerness and thickness. I have absolutely no idea what sheerness and thickness have to do with bearings! I imagine at some point this seller sold window coverings. But there you go Amazon, I mentioned sheerness and thickness. Seriously, the bearings seem to be fine. I used them in what is now a spare hub that I had to replace on the road a much higher price when the original bearings failed. I’ll be ready next time, and will be back on the road in minutes rather than a day. But until then I can’t give an informed opinion about how long they’ll last.In the meantime I am comfortable that I’m well prepared at a very low cost.
