This is really a flimsy little item. I thought the entire "spoon" opened up to squeeze the teabag. Just the dainty little heart. I am back just using my teaspoon. Also, to use this with loose tea leaves which I often use, the holes are spaced too far apart to properly view the tea leaves.

This is one of those things if you don't know any better you'll love it. However upon closer inspection, the handle bends easily and I'm sorry but I question it being made of polished metal.The handle looks like it's sprayed on. The latch is difficult to open and the holes are too big to strain tea properly. It says made in China and honestly it doesn't look like a product made to be used for consumption. It looks and feels like a pretty photo prop. Not food grade quality.
