The heater heats up great BUT. it shuts off before the room gets warm because the heater itself reaches the desired temperature long before the room will, it needs a remote thermostat. I have 2 7800watt Ken Brown heaters and they couldn't heat a 420 square foot room.

This heater works great for heating my small garage. The thermostat however does not work at all on any setting. You turn the knob until the heater comes on and you turn the knob again until the heater turns off.

in a 400 sq ft , 20 x 20 garage usually 50 -55 degrees , was using 2 Eden pures and they would bring temp up about 3-5 degrees , so i looked at reviews for these garage heaters , CZ was pretty impressive but i liked the features of this one better and the price , it was a no brainer , had a 50 amp socket in the garage so it only required some 8-3 wire and a little effort and done , hooked up same afternoon , used it , it did take a few minutes before i figured the remote out , but wow it is very impressive , was 53 degrees at 9am , ran it on low at 75 degree target temp , in 10 minutes it was to 70 degrees , at 20 minutes it had turned off at 75 degrees , it looks great , and it is super quite , some reviews said 75 decibels but i dont think so . Bottom line , I recommend this unit Ken brown 7500 w/remote .

It's noisier than I expected, but it is solidly made and uses the rated power. I built an office into my barn and wanted a cheap way to heat it. It works perfectly. The thermostat even works well. I'm really amazed this could be manufactured for so cheap.

Cons: I ordered two of these units for my shop. One was delivered with obvious damage to the packaging. After opening the box it appeared the damage to the unit was mostly to the metal housing. This damage made attaching the unit electric difficult as the bottom panel did not open as designed. Factory should design better packaging as the shippers are notoriously hard on boxes.Pros: Unit was easy to install and hook up to the Panel. Heaters powered up and began to heat properly.Time will tell if they supply heat as advertised and how long they will last.
