I have several old Coleman's that are kerosene from the factory. In addition to that I like to convert lanterns that were originally white gas to kerosene for efficiency and fun. When any lantern is kerosene fueled they are not instant light but need to be pre heated. Enter this primer cup.This piece is very obviously machined out of solid brass, as opposed to being soldered together. This part is basically indistinguishable from the original on a 237 for example.My favorite to convert to kero is the Coleman 288 (equivalent to the Coleman 214 kero lantern.). This cup fit perfectly and holds enough alcohol to prime a converted 288 in cold weather.All in all highly recommend for a replacement or a kero conversion.

WOW! I'm a machinist and I'm impressed. This is beautifully machined and fits perfect. It installed easily and functions great. I'm not joking it's great just buy it if you need one.
