I didn’t clue in to these only being 3lb bottles vs the 5lb ones I normally buy from IHL or have my employers supply me. And at $22 for 3lbs of black chalk that’s a pretty hefty price tag. But I was in a pinch and didn’t have time to drive all the way to Vaughn just to hit up IHL. Sucks, but it is what it is. 🤷♂️On the bright side, the product is exactly as advertised. It’s black chalk powder and it’s faaairly permanent on 85% of concrete surfaces. (Use a clear spray/lacquer spray to seal it better on the other 15%. Or better yet, clear spray it on all concrete surfaces. If you’re buying level 4 or higher chalk you probably want it to stay forever anyway.)As is normal, the Black is a much finer powder than blue and red coloured chalks. This can cause some chalk lines so jam up more frequently if you swap from red or blue to black and vice versa.My profession is literally only doing stud framing layout for residential and commercial sites in North America. So after all these years I’d like to think that I know my stuff regarding chalk. :)

All I wanted was long lasting chalk that was not red. The photo and the description say that you are purchasing a grade 4 chalk and I got a level 2 so with rain the lines disappear. Maybe a level 4 would work nice, but level 2 chalk is worthless
