I got this snorkeling set for my nine-year-old to use on a vacation to Hawaii. The gear worked well for him, and he didn't complain of it being uncomfortable or leaking at all. I was pleasantly surprised, given the reasonable price.

I ordered these for my 5 year old daughter to use on our trip to Hawaii. The mask fit her well but the mouth piece on the snorkel was too large for her mouth and she said it hurt her teeth. With her being on the younger end of the age range I figure she will just have to grow into being able to use the snorkel; also the silicone used on the mouth piece is very soft so I think its just too large for her. After her complaints about the snorkel we just used the goggles and she loved being able to see under water.The silicone strap that secures the goggles to her head did pull her hair both when putting the mask on and taking it off. Outside of that there were no issues with the mask. The mask fits her face well and there was no water leaking into it. Additionally, the mask didn’t fog up which was really cool.The materials used feel like they are high quality and the colors in the plastic are super bright. She especially loves the teal color. The silicone seals around the nose and eyes is soft enough to not hurt too which was a concern I had before she tried on the mask.

Nice snorkel with the anti-splash features keeps the entrance sealed, always a nice feature. The valve also is a nice feature, as it drains water from the bottom. Both are modernized features that were not available when we were kids. Good seal on the mask with anti-fog glass that I do hope will help with that dark fogging in most masks.Good strap and buckles. Comes with a mesh carrying bag. Good set for the price!

This may just be my child but he absolutely hates the way the silicone nose pieces creates pressure on his nose when he tries to breath through his nose. We've been working with him with it for a few days and I think we're just going to have to continue our search for a little kids size full snorkeling mask. He keeps trying because he's excited by the idea of snorkeling in the Caribbean in a few weeks but he just can't get the hang of the mask. Practice, much to my surprise, is better when using both pieces together. At first I thought it would make it more complicated but the distraction of biting on the silicone mouthpiece helps him tollerate the mask for longer and the sound of air going through the tube let's us both know he's doing it right.Quality wise...A+. Silicone is thick, soft and pliable. The wide band helps hold the mask into place. The breathing tube has a press release for the clip that attaches to the masks band. Colors are a pastel blue and aqua. It's a nice set and even if we can't use it now, there is some room to grow with it (the mask fits an average adult female as well - though the mouthpiece is too small but can still get a seal with it - albeit a little awkwardly).

Its perfect for the little ones.Quality is as good as any adult mask I've had, but it's the best size for kids.Perfect and comfortable way to get kids introduced to snorkeling.It's much better than when I was a kid, using an adults mask that leaked like crazy stressing me out.

I always struggle getting a good seal with masks, so like to take my own when traveling. This set includes a full-size snorkel (with a small mouthpiece) and a smaller-sized mask. I wear a small to medium hat and have a narrow nose, so decided to try the kid's size. Vacation is next week when I will try it out for real. But so far, I'm really pleased with the fit and how easily it packs into my suitcase (in its own bag).
