It looks like a kids umbrella but the button is extremely hard to push, even for an adult. This was intended to take to school but she wasn’t able to open it by herself which defeated the purpose. It does have a nice SPF cover underneath for the sunny days though. And it is very sturdy and compact.

Once again a terrific gift for stylish 4yr old girl. On opening and seeing it, a wrapped birthday gift, she was jumping up and down a expressing her wonderful surprise verbally, my grandaughter was so excited to have received her very own ‘grown up’ umbrella. The quality and the terrific colorful kitty design is what caught my eye and hers as well. With the rain we’ve been getting and the bright and hot sun this summer, I’m sure this will get plenty of use.

The pattern is cute and funny. My 7 year old can use it no problem. 7 y/o had an issue with getting pinched with the old umbrella, this one is so easy 7 y/o hasn’t had any problems. Smells a little funky at first out of the package, but goes away pretty quickly after use. It’s not easy to get back into the sleeve for it, but it’s not really needed.

Compared to most of the girl’s umbrellas, this one was decent sized as most were too small. It was big enough for my 10 yr old and super cute. Love the design.
