This is a great little starter loom. However if you DONT want the warping thread to come out of the grooves they will need to be cut deeper.

It's nice. I'm new at this, instructions were easy to put together. Also need to go to youtube to learn great videos for beginners there.

The loom is well designed. The first loom was broken, but fixable with a little wood glue. One of the crossbars was spilntered. Amazon sent me a new loom in good condition. If the loom was made of hardwood rather than pine it probably wouldn't have spinteted. It would have also been much more expensive.

Although it's listed for children, I found that this is a great beginning loom for adults as well!Just be sure to buy good quality warping thread and non-acrylic yarn (wool, cotton, etc) to get a good product.Pros: Great price, good quality wood, notched heddle bar makes the process much faster, shuttles included.Cons: The instructions aren't ideal and all the current YouTube links on the product page are in other languages, but you can search around and piece together enough information to get started. Easily forgivable given the great price and quality of the frame.
