Purchased this replace a VERY old saucepan that had its handle screwed on (and was always coming loose). The handle on this pan is riveted, so no fears of it coming loose, and it is rubberized for a sure grip and cool to the touch. It is now my wife's favorite! Being a KitchenAid brand, I figured it would be of a higher quality than the ones sold in grocery stores, and it definitely is! The base is stainless steel with an aluminum core, so heating is evenly spread across the base. It comes with a glass lid with a rubberized handle. At this price point, it is good value for a pan of this quality.Although these are dishwasher-safe, if you want pans like these to last decades, let them cool first, then hand wash and dry (even if they are Stainless Steel).

Had some problems in the past with stainless steel pans wanting to burn. But this has a very thick bottom that allows the pan to hold heat and heat evenly without burning or warping. It gets used about every other day for the last couple years, and it still is in great condition. Used on a gas range and electric cooktop

This is a nice pan. One of the criteria I used to pick this pan was NOT made in China. The pan is made in Thailand but, the lid is made in China. This is a disappointment.

De muy buen material, excelente acabado y un tamaño muy práctico. Distribuye bien el calor y es de fácil limpieza. El mango protegido no se calienta. De repente se le quedan manchas de agua pero nada que no se quite con una buena lavada. Me gustó mucho.
