The string jumps off the spool in a way that causes horrendous tangles all around the entire thing. Overpriced and not worth the headache. You’ll spend more time trying to undo tangles than actually using it. Ended up throwing it out in a tangle- induced rage while on a vacation. Just get a traditional spool.

We use this to pull a line for new fencing. It rolls out smoothly and reminds great. When spooled put, it will hold tight while we are marking for fence posts.

Great product with excellent shipping. It has good strength and plenty of line. Great lock feature and easy to reel and fits good in my hand. I am considering maybe using for a kayak anchor reel if I replace the kite string. It looks good also. Happy with the item this far.
