I love kombucha, but the "mother" always weirds me out. So, I really like this powdered kombucha! I get the tangy flavor without having to worry about the mother. It mixes well with water. It's a bit pricy but you get a LOT!

This has a nice flavor and a little bit of effervescence, and I enjoy drinking it. It works in a pinch if you love kombucha and don't have any available or need to travel, but it isn't really the same as fresh kombucha.

Honestly better than regular kombucha. Delicious! And convenient.

The product states that it has milk in it…? The only form of milk that could be considered is whatever bacteria strain that is in it. Unclear for the only one I am seeing is mixed 17 strains probiotics (lactibacillus) or probiotic (Bacillus coagulants). As I am lactose intolerant I didn’t really have any reactions to this although I did wake up (I do a kombucha drink in the evenings) when I put this in my eyes were a little buffer than normal. Can I say it was this or not specifically…no. Although I’m a seasoned athlete who’s paid particular attention to how my body reactions and performs to whatever I put in it. Also having to manage other allergies I’ve had no choice but to figure out what causes what down to specific ingredients in foods. There are more ingredients in this powder than I’d like to see or would normally put in my body. This was the first time I’d tried a powdered kombucha before. before. It tastes great, mixes well, easy to use and less expensive that buying the liquid bottles at the store. To note, like the fermented bottled kombucha at the store there is not ‘carbonation’ and given this it’s harder to tell the quality of the nutrients, how the kombucha was processed and if it’s good quality or not. I haven’t tried it long enough to figure that out and probably won’t given my individual responses but it’s worth figuring out…whether the powdered form actually maintains higher nutrient quality than bottled and which one is best for our bodies. I compare it to fresh vegetables vs frozen vegetables…and in this case it depends. Maybe the same is true for kombucha…? It is worth trying though and easy to add to your smoothies or green drinks for a little extra pizazz.

I decided to try the KKOKDAM Kombucha Tea for a convenient, shelf-stable alternative to traditional kombucha. While it’s a good product with several positives, it doesn’t fully replicate the taste and benefit of drinking kombucha with a good SCOBY.The flavor is pleasant and balanced, with a slight tanginess that mimics the fermented taste of traditional kombucha. I tried the lemon and chrysanthemum flavor and it was refreshing and light. However, the flavor lacks the depth and complexity you get from living kombucha made with a SCOBY. It’s a milder version, which might appeal to those new to kombucha or those who prefer a less intense taste. The biggest advantage of this product is its convenience. It comes in powdered form, which is easy to mix with water. The packaging is compact and portable, making it a great option for travel or quick hydration. Unlike bottled kombucha, it doesn’t need refrigeration, and you can prepare only as much as you need at a time. However, I do recommend using very cold water as this seems to improve e the taste, as this form lacks the fizziness you expect in traditional kombucha. The tea contains probiotics, but since it’s not a live, fermented product, it doesn’t offer the same level of active cultures as traditional kombucha. It’s a good source of hydration with added benefits, but it may not provide the full probiotic punch that some kombucha enthusiasts are looking for. While this product has its place, it doesn’t replicate the experience of drinking fresh kombucha. The lack of natural fizz and robust probiotics is noticeable. But it is a good option for travel or adding more hydration opportunities beyond water.

The powder dissolves quickly in water. The price tag is high but you also get a lot of powder from it.I find the packing a bit difficult to close once there some powder trapped between the strips. So i have to transfer the powder to a jar after just a few opening.I especially like that It has very little calorie and tastes not bad. This is a good choice for making a refreshing and interesting drink for a large party.
