Some elec bike manufactureres put chains on during mfg without any chain master links. If you want to properly clean and lub your chains, these are a must. Well made.

They seems a bit expensive for 2 master links..but the generic ones that came with my chain breaker were total junk and didn't fit my KMC chain so no choice but buy these..update..first one I used on my mtnbike fit work great..second one on my street bike doesn't work..out of spec and won't clip into place and stay..

I much prefer these KMC quick links over other brands. just be sure to get the reusable ones (these) and properly-sized ones for your chain. I used this to reinstall the (8spd) chain on my Dahon MU D8 folding bike after changing the crankset & chain ring.

Missing link does what if says. Good quality snap link. Directional arrow inbuilt. Good for a couple of chain removals before replacing
